Open the .cwk file above and click "Save as PDF". The PDF keeps the page size, margins, fonts, tables and pictures, and its text can be searched and copied.

Word and Excel, with the unlock

Word processing documents become .docx files with their formatting, tables, headers, footers and pictures. Spreadsheets and databases become .xlsx workbooks. Pages, Numbers, Word, Excel, LibreOffice and Google Docs all open them.

How faithful is the PDF?

Text, fonts, tables, frames and most pictures come through. Some unusual layouts, like text wrapped around a curved shape, are simplified.

Mac fonts like Geneva and New York?

They're drawn with the closest open font, so line breaks can shift slightly.
